In this well written and interesting paper the authors present yet another method of realising the irreducible unitary representation of the group SL\((2,R)\) by systematically studying the inductive algebras associated with it. In Section 4 of the paper the authors identify the maximal inductive algebras for all irreducible unitary representations of SL\((2,R)\). Even though the authors present the notion of infinitesimal structure of inductive algebras for Lie groups, this method may not be effective in realizing the irreducible unitary representations of a Lie group in general.
