It is well known that the Hankel transform \[ H_\mu f(y)=\int_0^\infty f(t)\sqrt{yt}J_\mu (yt)\,dt, \quad \mu\geq -\tfrac12, \] is an isometry on \(L^2(0,\infty)\), and \(H_\mu^2=I\). The author studies the operator \(T_\mu^\nu=H_\mu H_\nu\) called the transplantation operator from \(\nu\) to \(\mu\) and proves that it is a bounded operator in the real Hardy space \(H^1(0,\infty)\).
