This paper follows the authors' previous discussion [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 19, No.~2, 162--197 (2005; Zbl 1086.42022)]. Here they construct the continuous curvelet transform based on a polar parabolic scaling, and give a Parseval identity. After discretization by sampling, they show that the discretized family which is similar to discrete curvelets forms a tight frame.
