The Fourier-Bessel expansion of a sufficiently good function \(f\) on \((0,1)\), for instance, \(f\in C_c^\infty(0,1)\), is given by \[ f(x)\sim \sum^\infty_{j=1}a_j(f) \varphi_j(x),\quad a_j(f):=\int^1_0f(r) \varphi_j(r)\,dr,\tag{*} \] where the orthonormal system \(\{\varphi_j\}\) complete in \(L^2((0,1),dx)\) is defined by means of the Bessel function \(J_\nu\) of order \(\nu\) for a fixed \(\nu>-1\). (For details, see \textit{H. Hochstadt} [SIAM Rev. 9, 211--218 (1967; Zbl 0192.42904)].) The Bochner-Riesz means for the expansion in (*) are defined by \[ B_R^\delta (f,x):=\sum_{j\geq 1}\left(1-\frac{s^2_j}{R^2} \right)^\delta_+a_j(f)\varphi_j (x), \] where \(\delta>0\), \(R>0\), \((1-s^2)_+:=\max\{1-s^2,0\}\), and \(\{s_j\}\) is the sequence of the successive positive zeros of \(J_\nu\). A uniform two-weight inequality is proved for these means, from which necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for boundedness. Some corollaries regarding the convergence of these means are also obtained.
