The author investigate minimal immersions of spheres \(M^m\) into the unit round sphere \(S^n(1)\). There is a notable difference between the 2-dimensional case, in which the only such immersions are the well studied Veronese immersions and the case \(m \geq 3\). In the latter case there are infinitely many geometrically distinct non standard spherical minimal immersions. The easiest example is the well known immersion of the \(3\)-sphere with constant sectional curvature \(\tfrac{1}{16}\) as a Lagrangian submanifold in the 6-dimensional sphere. The main purpose of the paper is to provide a construction to find new minimal spherical immersions starting from existing minimal spherical immersions.
