In this paper, the authors prove the strong convergence of a new viscosity method for the implicit rule of a multivalued nonexpansive mapping in \(\mathrm{CAT}(0)\) space. Under certain appropriate conditions on the parameters, such a sequence can converge strongly to a fixed point of the mapping which solves a variational inequality. Further, some convergence results for the implicit viscosity approximation method in complete \(R\)-trees without the endpoint condition are established. Finally, two open questions are posed. The results presented in this paper extend corresponding results in the literature.
