Verf. beschäftigt sich im Anschluß an seine Dissertation (Ann. de Physique (11) 2 (1934), 455-560; F. d. M. \(60_{\text{II}}\), 1457) mit dem Problem der elastischen Diffusion von schnellen Elektronen in Atomfeldern. Er findet, daß die \textit{Born}sche Formel (in erster Näherung) keinen größeren Anwendungsbereich als die \textit{Rutherford}sche besitzt und daß die zweite Approximation der \textit{Born}schen Methode von zweifelhaftem Werte und zur Fehlerabschätzung unbrauchbar ist.
