On extension of continuous mappings, topological products and retracts (Q2629430): Difference between revisions

One of the fundamental concepts of the extension theory developed in the works of A.N. Dranishnikov and E.V. Shchepin is the concept of relation of extensiveness, which was introduced by K. Kuratowski. The development of this theory has led to the emergence of the questions considered in this paper, which in essence are the investigation of products of the relation of extensiveness in the case of consideration of some types of subspaces of topological products and spaces, which are the Stone-Čech compactifications of discrete sums of the Hilbert cube.
