The author generalizes the notion of asymptotic average shadowing property (introduced by \textit{R. Gu} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 67, No. 6, 1680--1689 (2007; Zbl 1121.37011)]) to parametrize iterated function systems (IFS) and prove some related results on this notion. Recall that a parametrized iterated function system \(\mathcal{F}=\{X; f_\lambda|\lambda\in\Lambda\}\) is a family of continuous mappings \(f_\lambda:X\to X, \lambda\in \Lambda\), where \(\Lambda\) is a finite nonempty set. The author shows that: {\parindent= 0.6 cm \begin{itemize}\item[(1)] every uniformly contracting IFS has the asymptotic average property; \item[(2)] if a continuous surjective IFS on a compact metric space has the asymptotic average shadowing property then \(\mathcal{F}\) is chain transitive; \item[(3)] there exists an IFS \(\mathcal{F}\) which has the asymptotic average shadowing property but does not satisfy the shadowing property. \end{itemize}}
