In this paper the author has shown how the results of constrained differential renormalization (CDR), found for the one-loop case, can be very useful in two-loop calculations. In those cases, the use of one-loop CDR allows to fix all the ambiguities that appear at one-loop level, which implies that the coefficients of the divergent parts of the total expression are fixed a priori. No Ward identity is needed to be used to relate different scales. The procedure distinguishes between the cses of diagrams with nested divergences and diagrams with overlapping divergences. The procedure is applied to the two-loop beta function coefficient of QED, SuperQED and Yang-Mills theory.
