Let \(\mu\) be a positive Radon measure on \(\mathbb{R}^d\) which may be non doubling, but satisfies certain growth condition \(\mu(B(x,r))\leq Cr^n\) for all \(x\in \mathbb{R}^d\), \(r>0\) and some fixed constants \(C\) and \(n\in(0,d]\). In this reviewed paper, the authors define the Marcinkiewicz integral \(M\) related to such measure \(\mu\). By assuming that the kernel of \(M\) satisfies some Hörmander-type condition, and assuming that \(M\) is bounded on \(L^2(\mu)\), the authors establish its boundedness properties from the Lebesgue space \(L^1(\mu)\) to the weak Lebesgue space \(L^{1,\infty}(\mu)\), from the Hardy space \(H^1(\mu)\) to \(L^1 (\mu)\), and from the Lebesgue space \(L^\infty(\mu)\) to the space \(RBLO(n)\). As a consequence, they obtain the boundedness of \(M\) on \(L^p(\mu)\) for any \(1<p< \infty\), provided that \(M\) is bounded on \(L^2(\mu)\). Moreover, the authors also study the commutator generated by the \(RBMO\) function and the Marcinkiewicz integral with kernel satisfying certain slightly stronger Hörmander-type condition.
