Let M be a collection of all continuous probability measures on the interval [0,1] with support equal to the interval [0,1]. For \(\mu\in M\) let C(\(\mu\)) consist of all continuous \(\mu\)-preserving functions from [0,1] onto [0,1]. C(\(\mu\)) endowed with the uniform metric is a complete metric space. A point x is said to be a knot point of a function f if \(D^+f(x)=D^-f(x)=+\infty\) and \(D_+f(x)=D_ -f(x)=-\infty.\) The author shows that for \(\mu\),\(\nu\in M\) a typical function of C(\(\mu\)) has a knot point at \(\nu\)-almost every point. A construction of a Besicovitch function preserving the Lebesgue measure is presented.
