Let \(\mathbb F_2\) be the field with two elements and \(P(n)=\mathbb F_2[x_1,\ldots,x_n]\) be the polynomial algebra in the variables \(x_1,\ldots,x_n\) each of degree \(1\). Then \(P(n)\) is a module over the mod-2 Steenrod algebra \({\mathcal A}\) in a well known way. Let \({\mathcal A}^+P(n)=\{\sum_{i>0}Sq^iu_i;~u_i\in P(n), Sq^i\in {\mathcal A}\}\). In this note, the author provides some informations about the dimension of the quotient vector space \(P(n)/{\mathcal A}^+P(n)\) under some hypotheses.
