Weighted Sobolev spaces and quasiconformal mappings (Q2455221): Difference between revisions

Let \(\varphi : D \mapsto D'\) be a mapping between the domains \(D\) and \(D'\) in \(\mathbb R^n\). Let \(\varphi^* (f) = f \circ \varphi\) be the related superposition. The paper deals with necessary and sufficient conditions ensuring that \[ \varphi^* : L^1_p (D',v) \mapsto L^1_q (D,u) \] is a bounded map, where \(L^1_p (D', v)\), \(L^1_q (D,u)\) are homogeneous Sobolev spaces, \(1<q \leq p < \infty\), and \(v,u\) are Muckenhoupt weights. This is done in terms of quasi-conformal mappings.
