An associative algebra \(A\) over a field \(k\) is a Jordanian plane if it is generated by two elements \(x,y\) with one defining relation \(yx-xy=y^2\). A Jordanian plane \(A\) is left and right Noetherian. Hence it has a division ring of fractions \(D\). A valuation of \(D\) is a surjective homomorphism \(\nu\colon D^*\to\Gamma\), where \(D^*\) is the multiplicative group of nonzero elements of \(D\) and \(\Gamma\) is a linearly ordered group, not necessarily commutative. The main result of the paper states that \(\Gamma\) is an Abelian group. This result is extended to any graded domain \(A=\bigoplus_{n\geqslant 0 }A_n\) such that \(\dim A_n=n+1\) and the field \(k\) has no quadratic extensions.
