Auf Grand der Taylorschen Wirbeltransporttheorie wird die Geschwindigkeits- und Temperaturverteilung im Nachlauf hinter einem in Richtung der Umdrehungsachse angeströmten Rotationskörper berechnet, wobei Isotropie der Turbulenz genügend weit stromab angenommen wird. Nur im Nachlaufkern ist die Übereinstimmung mit der \textit{Swain}schen (Proc. R. Soc. London A 151 (1935), 494) Geschwindigkeitsverteilung, die auf Grund der Prandtlschen Impulstransporttheorie ermittelt wurde, gut.
