An elementary proof of Tverberg's theorem (Q844466): Difference between revisions

The paper presents a version of \textit{K. S. Sarkaria}'s proof of Tverberg's theorem [Isr. J. Math. 79, No. 2--3, 317--320 (1992; Zbl 0786.52005)]. The proof is very similar to the proof one can find in section 8.3 of the book by \textit{J. Matoušek} [Lectures on discrete geometry (Graduate Texts in Mathematics. 212. New York, NY: Springer) (2002; Zbl 0999.52006)]. The difference is in terminology and in incorporating the colourful Carathéodory's as a part of the argument with a different proof.
