Summary: We study fundamental properties of \(C^\ast\)-algebra-valued \(b\)-metric space which was introduced by \textit{Z.-H. Ma} et al. [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2014, Article ID 206, 11 p. (2014; Zbl 1345.54062)] and give some fixed point theorems for cyclic mapping with contractive and expansive condition on such space analogous to the results presented in [loc.\,cit.].
