Starting from the standard sequence of the Jacobi functions \(\phi_n^{(\alpha,\beta)}\), which form the orthonormal basis in \(L^2(0,\pi)\), the author studies the operator \[ T_{\rho_n,d}^{(\alpha,\beta,\gamma,\delta)}: \quad \sum_{n=0}^\infty a_n\phi_n^{(\gamma,\delta)} \rightarrow \sum_{n=\max\{-d,0\}} \rho_n a_n\phi_{n+d}^{(\alpha,\beta)}, \] \(\{\phi_n\}\) is a bounded sequence, \(d\) is an integer. The main result of the paper concerns the boundedness of such operators in weighted Hardy spaces.
