The paper under review surveys applications of the Knaster-Tarski fixed point principle, for partially ordered sets, in discrete-time (multivalued) dynamical systems. The notions disscussed by the author include measures of noncompactness, applications of Kuratowski's intersection theorem, the Barnsley-Hutchinson operator, minimal (sub)invariant sets and maximal (super)invariant sets.
