Spectral synthesis problems on locally compact groups (Q5962360): Difference between revisions

This paper is devoted to studying spectral synthesis problems on locally compact groups and compact groups. The author defines exponential monomials on locally compact groups (not necessarily commutative), and presents some results on spectral analysis and spectral synthesis over non-commutative locally compact groups. In addition, by using the theory of almost periodic functions, the author proves that spectral synthesis holds on compact groups.
