\textit{W. Takahashi} and \textit{M. Toyoda} [J. Optim. Theory Appl. 118, No.~2, 417--428 (2003; Zbl 1055.47052)] showed the weak convergence of an iteration based on a convex combination ``à la Ishikawa iteration''. The frame and the operators involved were satisfying very general conditions. \textit{A. Tada} and \textit{W. Takahashi} [J. Optim. Theory Appl. 133, No.~3, 359--370 (2007; Zbl 1147.47052)] proved the weak convergence of an extragradient method to the equilibrium of a general operatorial problem. A~sequence of regularity conditions for the involved operator were considered. The paper under review considers and combines those two results to prove a weak convergence result of an extragradient method for the solution of a generalized equilibrium problem. The generalization is provided by a weaker regularity condition and by a larger class of operators.
