The author investigates the zeta function \[ Z(P,\chi,a,s)= \sum^\infty_{n_1= 1}\cdots \sum^\infty_{n_r=1} \chi_1(n_1)\cdots \chi_r(n_r)\cdot P(n+1+ a_1,\dots, n_r+ a_r)^{- s}, \] where \(a_i\geq 0\) and \(\chi_i\) is a Dirichlet character for each \(i\), and \(P\) is a polynomial satisfying certain conditions. First the analytic continuation of \(Z(P,\chi,a,s)\) to the whole complex \(s\)-plane is obtained, and values at nonpositive integers \(s= -m\) are given in terms of generalized Bernoulli polynomials. These values are expressed by Euler polynomials in special cases. Then by using relations among different zeta functions, formulas for sums of products of Euler polynomials, Bernoulli polynomials and generalized Bernoulli polynomials are derived from their special values. In the last section, the identities among Euler polynomials are obtained by the similar method, some of which are classical and some new.
