This paper considers Duffing-type \(p\)-Laplacian equations of the form \[ [x'(t)| x'(t)| ^{p-2}]'+Cx'(t)+g(t,x(t))=e(t), \] where \(p>2\), \(g(t,x)\) and \(e(t)\) are \(T\)-periodic with respect to \(t\), and the forcing \(e(t)\) has zero mean: \(\int_0^T e(t)\,dt=0\). Under the assumption that \(g(t,x)\) is decreasing with respect to \(x\) and that \(xg(t,x)<0\) for \(| x| >d\), it is proved that the equation has a unique \(T\)-periodic solution. The proof uses a continuation theorem of Manásevich and Mawhin, and derives a-priori estimates on periodic solutions in order to verify the hypotheses of the continuation theorem.
