A predator-prey system is treated where prey may diffuse between two patches but the predator is confined to one patch. The parameters are continuous positive functions of time. Conditions are given for the permanence of the system. In case the parameters are periodic functions, conditions are given for the existence of at least one periodic solution. In case the parameters are almost-periodic functions, conditions are given for the existence and stability of a unique almost-periodic solution. The latter conditions seem to be difficult to apply.
