For the vertex algebra \(M(1)\) generated by a single free boson, the paper discussed properties of its subalgebras, whose irreducible modules could be constructed from twisted or untwisted modules of \(M(1)\). A classification of these modules were given. Also the associated Zhou's algebras are determined in the paper.
