Nonlocal nonlinear differential equations with a measure of noncompactness in Banach spaces (Q1006695): Difference between revisions

The author considers the nonlocal initial value problem \[ u'(t)\in Au(t)+f(t,u(t))\, ,\text{ a.e. } t\in (0,T) \] \[ u(0)=g(u), \] where \(A\) is a nonlinear m-dissipative operator (which may be multivalued) generating a contraction semigroup \(S(t)\) on \(\overline{D(A)}\) in a Banach space \(X\); \(f:[0,T]\times D\rightarrow X\) and \(g:C([0,T];D)\rightarrow \overline{D(A)}\) are given \(X\)-valued functions with \(D(A)\subset D\subset X\). For this problem the author provides some theorems on the existence of certain integral solutions under different assumptions on \(f\) and \(g\). Finally, an example is given.
