By employing several Lyapunov functionals, the authors obtain easily verifiable delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of retarded functional-differential equations with multiple time-varying delays. These approaches generalize both the Hopfield neural network model as well as hybrid network models of cellular neural network type.
