Two approaches to constructing affine real rational knots in \(\mathbb{RP}^{3}\) using the gluing technique introduced in [\textit{J. Björklund}, J. Knot Theory Ramifications 20, No. 9, 1285--1309 (2011; Zbl 1226.57007)] are discussed. In the braid group approach, the authors construct a real rational knot of degree determined by the number of generators to express an associated element of the pure braid group in terms of the standard generators of the pure braid group. In the polygonal approach, they predict a real rational knot in the isotopy class of any polygonal knot with an upper bound of the degree expressed in terms of the number of edges of the polygonal representation.
