This is a paper about the manuscripts used by Federico Commandino in his Latin translation of Pappus's \textit{Collection}. Two of those manuscripts had been identified by \textit{A. P. Treweek} [Pappus of Alexandria. The manuscript tradition of the ``Collectio Mathematica'', Scriptorium 11, No. 2, 195--233 (1957; \url{doi:10.3406/scrip.1957.2937})]. A third manuscript is identified here by authenticating Commandino's handwriting in the revisions and annotations it contains. Commandino's translation was published only in 1588, thirteen years after his death, in an edition involving several of Commandino's disciples, foremost among them Guidobaldo del Monte. A comparison of the manuscript 121 of the Urbino University Library, containing Commandino's preliminary work for the Latin edition of the \textit{Collection}, with the printed edition indicates the role played by Guidobaldo del Monte in revising Commandino's translation.
