The authors discuss the intersection operation of two fuzzy events as used by \textit{S. Gudder} [``Fuzzy probability theory'', Demonstr. Math. 31, No. 1, 235--254 (1998; Zbl 0952.60002)] and present arguments from the theory of observables in quantum probability theory to redefine this intersection operation. To find an appropriate definition, they use results from t-norms, copulas and Bell-type inequalities.
