Summary: This paper addresses the problem of global asymptotic stability of a class of uncertain discrete-time state-delayed systems employing generalized overflow nonlinearities. The systems under investigation involve parameter uncertainties that are assumed to be deterministic and norm bounded. A new computationally tractable delay-dependent criterion for global asymptotic stability of such systems is presented. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
