The authors consider the existence of anti-periodic solutions to equations of the form \(\ddot q=u(t,q)\) by the fixed point theory via the Green's function for anti-periodic boundary value problem. Their method is inspired by the ideas in the paper by \textit{P. H. Rabinowitz} and \textit{E. Stredulinsky} [Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Anal. Non Linéaire 21, No.~5, 673--688 (2004; Zbl 1149.35341)].
