Let \(Z\) over \(\mathbb{C}\) be a \(\mathbb{Q}\)-factorial projective variety such that its divisor class group \(\text{Cl}(Z)\) is a lattice. Let \(\text{Cox}(Z)=\bigoplus_{D\in\text{Cl}(Z)}\Gamma(Z,\mathcal O(D))\) be the Cox ring of \(Z\). The \(\text{Cl}(Z)\)-grading of \(\text{Cox}(Z)\) yields an algebraic action of the associated torus \(\text{Hom}_{\mathbb{Z}}(\text{Cl}(Z), \mathbb{C}^*)\) on \(\text{Spec}(\text{Cox}(Z)\), \(Z\) is a GIT quotient of \(\text{Spec}(\text{Cox}(Z))\) under this action. Every normal affine variety \(X\) with an algebraic torus action can be described in terms of a polyhedral divisor \(D=\sum\Delta_i\otimes D_i\) over its Chow quotient \(Y\). The main result of the paper asserts that the associated polyhedral divisor is supported on a finite number of exceptional divisors \(D_i\) with polyhedral coefficients \(\Delta_i\) described in terms of stabilized multiplicitors with respect to these divisors. In the toric case the chow quotient of \(\text{Cox}(Z)\) and the polyhedral divisor are described explicitly. At the end the surface case and special examples are discussed.
