A Fefferman metric is defined on the total space of the canonical circle bundle of a partially integrable CR-manifold. This construction uses the generalized Tanaka-Webster connection of pseudo-Hermitian geometry. The conformal class of the Fefferman metric is a CR invariant. This is called the gauged Fefferman construction of partially integrable CR geometry.
