The authors generalize the functional equation \[2f(2x + y) + 2f(2x - y) + f(x + 2y) + f(x -2y) = 20[f(x + y) + f(x-y)] + 90f(x),\] introduced in [\textit{I. G. Cho} et al., J. Inequal. Appl. 2010, Article ID 368981, 9 p. (2010; Zbl 1213.39025)], by using some Euler-Lagrange \(k\)-quintic functional equations. Further they investigate the Ulam stability of these \(k\)-quintic functional mappings, where \(k\neq 0,\,\,\, k\neq \pm1\).
