The authors demonstrate that the Taylor-Galerkin finite element method is a very useful and powerful technique for solving problems in computational electromagnetics. They use two basic formulations: a Lax- Wendroff type scheme and a leapfrog variant and give several numerical examples which reveal the fundamental accuracy and adaptability of the method.
