Hypergeometric functions as generalized Stieltjes transforms (Q432379): Difference between revisions

The authors refer to another (not yet published) paper entitled ``Generalized Stieltjes functions and their exact order'' [\url{http://jca.ele-math.com/01-07/Generalized-Stieltjes-functions-and-their-exact-order}]. It is the aim of the present paper to apply the results of this other article to study generalized hypergeometric functions of the form \({}_{q+1}F_q\). They derive the so-called exact Stieltjes order of this hypergeometric function. Furthermore, they derive some new integral representations, inequalities, properties of the corresponding Padé table and properties of the \({}_{q+1}F_q\) function as a conformal map.
