For the boundary value problem \[ -y''+(a(a+1)x^{-2}+q(x))y=\lambda y, \; x\in (0,1),\; q\in L_R^2(0,1),\; a\in {\mathbb N}, \] \[ y(0)=y(1)=0, \] the inverse problem of recovering \(q\) from the spectral data is studied using the approach from [\textit{J. Pöschel} and \textit{E. Trubowitz}, Inverse spectral theory. Pure and Applied Mathematics, Vol. 130. Boston etc.: Academic Press, (1987; Zbl 0623.34001)].
