Let \(H(\mathbb B)\) denote the space of all holomorphic functions on the unit ball \(\mathbb B \subset \mathbb C^n\). The authors investigate the following integral-type operator (so called extended Cesaro operator) with symbol \(g \in H(\mathbb B)\) \[ T_g(f)(z)=\int _0^1 f(tz)\Re g(tz)\frac{dt}{t}, \quad f\in H(\mathbb B), z\in \mathbb B, \] where \(\Re g(z) = \sum _{j=1}^n z_j \frac{\partial g}{\partial z_j}(z)\) is the radial derivative of \(g\). They also characterize the boundedness and compactness of the operator \(T_g\) from Bloch-type spaces to Zygmund-type spaces.
