This paper is a short version of the author's dissertation on quantum cohomology. A symplectic manifold \((V,\omega)\) is called monotonic, if there exists a constant \(\lambda>0\) such that for any \(f\in \pi_2(V)\), \(\omega(f)=\lambda c_1(f*TV)\). The author proves the associativity of the multiplication of quantum cohomology for a monotone compact symplectic manifold \(V\) for which \(c_1(A)>1\) for any effective class \(A\in H_2(V)\).
