In the paper, there are presented some new conditions for global uniform practical \(h\)-stability of nonlinear systems of differential equations. A converse theorem for practical \(h\)-stability is establishes. One of the main interests is that it serves to establish that property for cascaded systems when global uniform practically \(h\)-stable of the subsystems (resp. nominal system) is shown with or without Lyapunov theory. In the paper, there is illustrated this use in the practical \(h\)-stabilization for dynamical systems with delayed perturbations. To guarantee that the closed-loop system is globally uniformly practically \(h\)-stable, a continuous controller is provided and sufficient conditions are given. Furthermore, a class of nonlinear systems with delayed perturbations and uncertain control has been considered.
