This self-contained paper is another in a series of papers regarding related subjects (see e.g. [Rocky Mt. J. Math. 47, No. 2, 463--477 (2017; Zbl 1401.20062); Commun. Algebra 44, No. 8, 3262--3277 (2016; Zbl 1401.20060); Houston J. Math. 40, No. 4, 1007--1019 (2014; Zbl 1330.13010); Commun. Algebra 42, No. 10, 4333--4349 (2014; Zbl 1352.13006)]), by the authors. The aim is to extend Barwise and Eklof's classification of arbitrary torsion groups up to \(L_{\infty\omega}\)-equivalence to a class of mixed \(\mathbb Z_p\)-modules with partial decomposition basis. To this end the authors generalized the concept of decomposition basis for modules over PID's to that of partial decomposition basis. While the classification encompasses classification work of Warfield and Barwise-Eklof, the classification Theorem 4.7 seems to be in need of simplification (if possible) as it is in a user unfriendly form at the present state.
