This paper deals with the second order neutral differential equation of the form \[ \left( (a(t)((x(t)-p(t)x(\sigma (t))^{\prime })^{\gamma }\right) ^{\prime }+q(t)x^{\beta }(\tau (t))=0 \] with positive coefficients. Sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the solutions are obtained. Moreover, two examples are given to illustrate the results.
