    This paper is devoted to give sufficient conditions for the \(L^ 2\) well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for Schrödinger type equations \[ D_ tu + H_ 2 (t,x,D_ x) u + H_ 1 (t,x, D_ x) u = f(t,x) \quad \text{in} \quad [s,T] \times \mathbb{R}^ n_ x, \quad u(s,x) = u_ 0(x). \] Here \(H_ 2\) and \(H_ 1\) are pseudodifferential operators in suitable classes but typically \(h_ 2 (t,x,\xi) = | \xi |^ 2\) and \(h_ 1 (t,x,\xi) = \sum^ n_{j = 1} b^ j(x) \xi_ j + c(x)\), with \(b^ j\) and \(c\), \(C^ \infty\) bounded. The main result in this context was obtained by S. Mizohata and the aim of this article is to extend the theorem by using the Fourier integral theory and the Egorov theorem.
