It is proved that planar cubic quasi-homogeneous systems do not have limit cycles, any planar cubic semi-quasi-homogeneous system can have at most one limit cycle, and any such system with a limit cycle can be transformed, after a rescaling of the variables, to the system \(\dot x = x+ a y^3, \quad \dot y = x -y^3\) (where \(a <1\)), whose unique limit cycle is stable. Global dynamics of planar cubic semi-quasi-homogeneous polynomial system having finitely many singularities is investigated establishing 43 possible phase portraits of such systems.
