A Beurling-Helson type theorem for modulation spaces (Q1022913): Difference between revisions

Summary: We prove a Beurling-Helson type theorem on modulation spaces. More precisely, we show that the only \(\mathcal C^{1}\) changes of variables that leave invariant the modulation spaces \(\mathcal M^{p,q}(\mathbb{R})\) are affine functions on \(\mathbb{R}\). A special case of our result involving the Sjöstrand algebra was considered earlier by \textit{A. Boulkhemair} [Math. Res. Lett. 4, No. 1, 53--67 (1997; Zbl 0905.35103)].
