The authors consider a class of first order constant coefficient differential-delay equations. Using Lindstedt's perturbation method, they obtain an explicit formula for determing the radius of a limit cycle which appears in a Hopf bifurcation. This is an analogue for ordinary differential equations and the approach is the same as that for the ordinary differential equation case.
