Some results on the Apostol-Bernoulli and Apostol-Euler polynomials (Q931770): Difference between revisions

The authors explore the generalized Apostol-Bernoulli and generalized Apostol-Euler polynomials [see, e.g., \textit{Qiu-Ming Luo, H. M. Srivastava}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 308, No. 1, 290--302 (2005; Zbl 1076.33006)] which generalize the Apostol-Bernoulli and Apostol-Euler polynomials [see \textit{T. M. Apostol}, Pac. J. Math. 1, 161--167 (1951; Zbl 0043.07103)] and the classical Bernoulli and Euler polynomials. Various relations among these polynomials and explicit expressions for sums and products involving such polynomials are presented. As special cases, the authors rediscover various well known identities for the Bernoulli and Euler polynomials.
