This paper deals with the motion of two immiscible viscous incompressible capillary fluids in a bounded domain assuming that the constant coefficient of the surface tension is positive, the interface is close to the equilibrium configuration, and the liquid is subject to the mass forces exponentially decaying with large time. Under these assumptions, the solvability of the problem is established; the proof relies on the analysis of some linear problems whose solutions decay exponentially. Finally, a local existence result with initial interface of arbitrary shape and without smallness assumption for the initial velocities is established.
